Scribbly & Still Booking Terms & Conditions
By booking a Scribbly & Still class, trial session, workshop or block of sessions, you agree to the following terms.
Bookings and payment
Places are confirmed once booking and payment have been completed.
Please make sure the information you provide about your child is accurate and let me know if anything changes that may affect their safe participation.
Cancellations and refunds
For individual workshops or trial sessions, cancellations made 7 days or more before the session will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the session are normally non-refundable.
For term-time blocks, missed sessions are normally non-refundable once the block has started, as your child’s place has been reserved for the full block.
Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Scribbly & Still. Please contact me if something unexpected happens and you are unable to continue attending.
Bookings may be transferred to another suitable child with prior agreement.
If Scribbly & Still cancels
If I need to cancel a session and cannot offer a suitable replacement date, you will receive a refund for the affected session.
If a whole workshop, trial or block is cancelled by Scribbly & Still, you will receive a full refund for any sessions that have not taken place.
Illness
Please do not bring your child to a session if they are unwell in a way that could affect their participation or pose an infection risk to other children.
If a child becomes unwell during a session, I will contact their parent/carer or emergency contact.
Arrival and collection
Please arrive and collect your child at the stated times.
Children will only be released to the parent/carer or authorised adult named on their registration information unless another arrangement has been agreed in advance.
If you are unexpectedly delayed, please contact me as soon as possible.
Supporting your child
Please tell me about any medical, communication, sensory, learning or support needs that would help me support your child safely and comfortably.
I will make reasonable adjustments wherever possible. If I need more information to understand how best to support your child, I may contact you before the session.
Behaviour and safety
Scribbly & Still is intended to be a safe, welcoming and inclusive space.
If a child is having difficulty taking part safely, I will support them calmly and appropriately.
If their behaviour creates an immediate or significant risk to themselves or others and the session cannot safely continue, I may need to contact their parent/carer and ask for them to be collected.
This would never be used as a punishment, and I would discuss what support may help before future sessions.
Medical emergencies
In an emergency, appropriate first aid will be given and emergency services may be contacted if necessary.
Parents/carers will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible.
Please ensure emergency contact and relevant medical information is kept up to date.
Photography and video
Photos or videos of identifiable children will only be taken and used in line with the permissions you have provided.
You can change your photography permission for future use by contacting Scribbly & Still.
This may not always allow material that has already been legitimately published or distributed to be recalled.
Personal information
Personal information is used to manage bookings, communicate with parents/carers and help children participate safely.
Information is handled in accordance with the Scribbly & Still Privacy Notice and Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy.
Safeguarding
Scribbly & Still takes safeguarding seriously.
If information suggests that a child may be at risk of harm, information may need to be shared with appropriate safeguarding services even without parental consent where this is necessary to protect a child.
Changes to sessions
Occasionally it may be necessary to make reasonable changes to activities, rooms, timings or arrangements because of circumstances outside my control.
Where a significant change affects your booking, I will contact you as soon as possible.
Liability
Scribbly & Still will provide services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
